Express Heroes, UAB management demonstrates leadership and commitment to the effectiveness of the quality management system and organises the activities in order to implement the strategy in compliance with the requirements of quality standards.

ORGANIZATION’S MANAGEMENT COMMITS TO:

1. To comply with the requirements of the client and applicable laws and their implementing legislation, including the implementation of the needs and expectations of all stakeholders.

2. Assess the identified risks and opportunities related to the activities of company, and if a high level of risk occurs – eliminate it, and if it cannot be eliminated, reduce it and apply preventive measures and take advantage of the opportunities.

3. To ensure appropriate measures to maintain the continuity of operations and strategic direction.

4. Provide services only after making sure that the client’s requirements are identified, clarified and fully understood. Ensure their implementation while maintaining focus on increasing customer satisfaction.

5. Carry out continuous improvement of services by analysing discrepancies and making decisions to reduce them.

6. To increase employee motivation, productivity and efficiency by improving working conditions, internal communication and providing opportunities for improving professional qualifications.

7. Provide the necessary resources to achieve the goals of the Organization and the continuous improvement of the quality management system.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE POLICY

The Organisation has approved this policy so that all employees comply with the principles and norms established herein. Any employee who notices violations of the policy must promptly inform their manager. The Company guarantees complete confidentiality, data protection, and protection against retaliation for whistle-blowers.

FINAL PROVISIONS

  1. All Organization employees are familiarised with the policy, which applies to all Express Heroes UAB Company.
  2. The Organization publicly publishes the policy on its website, making it accessible to all interested parties.

Environmental policy

The Environmental Policy of Express Heroes, UAB is an integral part of its business strategy with a view to reducing the environmental impact of its operations.   

BY TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF OUR OPERATIONS, WE COMMIT TO:  

  1. Conduct business in compliance with all mandatory environmental legislation, integrated pollution prevention and control permits and other applicable documentary requirements. 
  2. Preserve natural and energy resources: reduce consumption of water, electricity and materials used in our operations; use, where possible, renewable energy sources; use chemicals responsibly. 
  3. Reduce the waste generated by our operations and ensure safe and responsible management and sorting, reuse and recycling. 
  4. Reduce our carbon footprint and reach climate neutrality by 2045. For this purpose, we measure and report greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and implement emission-reducing measures. 
  5. Develop staff competences and an environmentally responsible attitude, and encourage the staff’s involvement in environmental initiatives. 
  6. Apply all preventive measures for emergency management. 
  7. Implement the environmental objectives and provide the necessary resources, thereby contributing in reducing air pollution, improving water quality, conservation of resources, and preservation of wildlife, biodiversity, land, soil and forests. 
  8. Communicate our environmental goals and objectives to all employees, customers, service providers, suppliers, the local community and other external stakeholders. 
  9. Adhere to environmental principles and continuous improvement at all levels of our business.  

IMPLEMENTING AND MONITORING ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY 

  1. The implementation and proper enforcement of this Policy in the company is the responsibility of the Managers and environmental protection professionals, who shall ensure timely identification of the environmental aspects with actually or potentially significant impact on the environment, setting the environmental goals, establishment of the tasks to achieve the objectives, regular monitoring the achieved results, and auditing the processes.  
  2. In order to ensure continuous improvement in environmental performance, the company Express Heroes, UAB shall periodically monitor and record environmental indicators to measure the level of achievement and changes.  
  3. To ensure full compliance in Express Heroes service supply chain, the implementation of similar environmental standards is required from all service suppliers, providers and contractors.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

The Express Heroes, UAB applies an occupational health and safety policy to ensure safe and healthy working conditions for each employee, to prevent work-related injuries and occupational diseases, and to create a safe and healthy work environment culture based on personal responsibility and cooperation.

The purpose is to define the basic principles of safety and health for employees of the Express Heroes, UAB.

  1. Principles for ensuring occupational health and safety and commitments of the Express Heroes, UAB:
    1.1. The main principle of Occupational Safety and Health – we strive to ensure the safety and health of employees at work, and to prevent accidents, occupational diseases and other work-related risks.
    1.2. Occupational health and safety is considered a valuable organizational asset, as it not only ensures the well-being of employees, but also contributes to the success of the Express Heroes, UAB.
    1.3. The management of the Express Heroes, UAB carries out an active engagement process that ensures the implementation of the safety policy in all Express Heroes, UAB company.
    1.4. Express Heroes, UAB has developed a clear plan for continuous improvement and Internal Control for all workplaces. The plan of planned preventive measures specifies the areas of assessment, responsible persons, and periodicity to reduce the risks of health hazards and accidents.
  2. The Express Heroes, UAB assumes responsibility for creating a safe and healthy working environment for its employees and undertakes to:
    2.1. comply with the requirements of occupational health and safety legislation and the principles of this Policy, ensuring that employees are familiar with this Policy;
    2.2. ensure that occupational health and safety objectives are set at all levels of the Express Heroes, UAB company;
    2.3. ensure that employees are instructed in occupational safety and health issues before starting work;
    2.4. assess risk factors in all workplaces and determine the number of problem areas where risk assessments have been carried out, and provide risk management measures and strive to prevent accidents at work and incidents in the activities;
    2.5. ensure that reports received about violations of employee safety and health are investigated, analysed, and necessary preventive measures are taken to prevent violations;
    2.6. ensure compliance of occupational health and safety in Express Heroes, UAB with the ISO 45001:2018 standard;
    2.7. to determine the areas of responsibility for occupational safety and health in the Express Heroes, UAB and to assign relevant functions and grant powers to the responsible employees;
    2.8. ensure opportunities for employees and their representatives to consult on occupational safety and health issues and participate in the activities of the occupational safety and health management system. Support the establishment and activities of occupational safety and health committees;
    2.9. to seek to oblige contractors and business partners to comply with the principles of this Policy, to follow applicable occupational safety and health legislation and standards, and to assume responsibility for creating safe working conditions for their employees;
    2.10. to cooperate on occupational safety and health issues with business partners, state institutions and bodies, and other interested parties.
  3. The main areas of goal for the Express Heroes, UAB occupational health and safety are:
    3.1. personal protective equipment;
    3.2. machine safety;
    3.3. emergency preparedness;
    3.4. incident and accident management;
    3.5. workplace ergonomics;
    3.6. handling of chemical and/or biological substances;
    3.7. fire safety.
  4. The main indicators of the safety and health of employees of the Express Heroes, UAB:
    4.1. number of employees trained in safety and health education issues;
    4.2. number of identified problem areas where risk assessments have been carried out;
    4.3. the number of incidents, unsafe situations and unsafe behaviour reported;
    4.4. Number of LTA/NLTA.
  5. Final provisions
    5.1. The managers of the Companies and/or their designated responsible employees are responsible for the implementation and proper execution of the Policy provisions in the Express Heroes, UAB Company.
    5.2. All employees of the Express Heroes, UAB are familiarized with the Policy and must comply with the provisions of the Policy and actively participate in its implementation.
    5.3. The policy is reviewed every 2 years to ensure it remains relevant and up-to-date.
    5.4. The policy applies to all Express Heroes, UAB employees.
